Montgomery County Commissioners approved a contract Monday with Gibson Commercial Construction to replace the county highway garage destroyed by fire in November. 

The contract with the Indianapolis-based company was for $385,800 and was the lower of the two bids received.

Before making a final decision, commissioners asked architect Steve Akers to discuss the bids. He said the Gibson contract was less money and was written as requested. (…more…)
