Gibson Commercial Construction has recently completed the expansion to the Tom Wood Collision Center in Carmel, IN. The project consisted of converting existing office space into additional estimating bays. Due to compromising conditions, the existing tilt walls were replaced with concrete masonry. New glass overhead doors and lights help the concrete floor shine. Check out these before and after photos of the project.
Work has begun on the Extra Space Self Storage in Euclid, Ohio. This project along Babbitt Road is a conversion of a former big box into climate controlled self storage. This location will feature a drive-thru unloading/loading area. Gibson Commercial Construction’s scope includes refreshing the exterior of the building, cutting openings for the drive-thru lane, new mechanical systems, and construction of the storage units.
Gibson Commercial Construction has broken ground on another exterior storage expansion in Fort Wayne, IN. This project along South Anthony Boulevard includes (13) new structures in front of the existing Extra Space Self Storage. Once complete, this project will offer expanded square footage and storage options.
The new facility for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s K9 Division has begun to take shape. The structure has been erected and the roof is in place. The wall panels and under-slab utilities will begin to be installed this week as this project scampers along. Stay “heeled” as progress continues on this project.
The newest set of garages at Putnam Park Road Course are ready for use. This 12-bay private garage offers members a conditioned place to store their cars and track gear. The polished concrete floor and custom fans add an accent to the garage space.
The double additions at the Love’s Travel Stop in Knightstown, IN are open for use. The expanded deli prep area expands the Hot to Go offerings available for those meals on the road. The additional showers will decrease wait times and this store now offers customer laundry facilities. Stop by to check the expansions next time you are passing by on Interstate 70.
Gibson Commercial Construction has broken ground on the exterior storage expansion in Fort Wayne, IN. This project along Maplecrest Road includes (18) new structures in a former parking lot to expand the current capacity of the existing Extra Space Storage location. A roof replacement of the existing building is included in the scope of this project.
Gibson Commercial Construction is proud to be assisting the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s K9 Unit with the construction of their new facility. The new 6,200sf building will provide the space for offices, meeting rooms, kennels, and training space.
Tipton Community Schools are back in session and enjoying the summer improvements. The Elementary School received new secure entrance doors. The Middle School office received a facelift with the help of a new reception area and a fresh coat of paint. The clinic has all-new casework and a renovated restroom. The hallway’s wood paneling has been replaced with new tiles to give the students a bright welcome.
The walls are going up at the Love’s Travel Stop addition in Greenville, IL. After a design and scope change, Gibson Commercial Construction quickly regrouped and reworked the under-slab utilities to get the slab poured. Now framing is rising up from the slab, soon to be covered with exterior finishes to blend it in with the existing facility. Improvements at this location will now include expanded storage area and food prep areas for Hot to Go selections.
