New Location for Tom Wood Powersports Indy
Work has begun on the new location for Tom Wood Powersports on East 96th Street in Indianapolis, IN. Gibson Commercial Construction will be transforming these once office suites into Powersports’ new home. Once complete, the building will offer expanded showrooms and service facilities. New Associated Builders and Contractors Prep Academy in Fishers, IN
Gibson Commercial Construction is pleased to be able to assist with the buildout of the new Associated Builders and Contractors Prep Academy in Fishers, IN. The new space will allow the Prep Academy to continue its reach to local high school students to prepare them for careers within the construction trades. This program offers high school students a unique opportunity to experience the trades hands-on and begin their training prior to graduation.

Drive Up Units at Extra Space Storage
The exterior drive up units at Extra Space Storage along South Anthony Boulevard in Fort Wayne, Indiana are now open. The additional units were constructed by Gibson Commercial Construction and allowed a non-climate controlled option to Extra Space’s customers. These new units feature NOKE technology to secure units and offer convenient access. The scope of the project entailed grading, asphalt, landscaping, fencing, construction of the buildings, and the infrastructure for the NOKE system.
Extra Space Storage Expansion is Open
The Extra Space Storage along Maplecrest Road and Stellhorn Road in Fort Wayne has recently opened its expansion. The expansion constructed by Gibson Commercial Construction allowed the facility to offer nonclimate-controlled storage options to complement their interior climate controlled units. The expansion included work to the storm sewer system, grading work, asphalt, landscaping, fencing, and the construction of the buildings. These new outdoor units offer NOKE technology to secure the units and offer convenient access to users.
Extra Space in Euclid is Open for Business
Gibson Commercial Construction has recently completed an interior self-storage conversion in Euclid, Ohio. The 114,000 sf facility features a drive through lane for easier unloading and loading. The climate-controlled facility received a new roof, electric and mechanical systems, and a fresh coat of paint. Reach out to us to discuss your self-storage project.
Progress on Maplecrest Road
Asphalt is being laid at Extra Space Storage along Maplecrest Road in Fort Wayne. The asphalt will be followed by the installation of the doors, fencing, landscaping, and NOKE systems. Soon the exterior units will be available for rent. Keep tabs on this project as it nears completion.
Closing In at Extra Space Storage in Fort Wayne
The buildings are up at the Extra Space Self Storage expansion located on South Anthony Blvd in Fort Wayne, IN. The roofs are being installed right behind the building framing. Soon the doors and access control will be installed as the asphalt is placed around the new buildings.
Back in Love
Gibson Commercial Construction has recently started another addition for the Love’s Travel Stop located off of I-70 and State Road 39 in Hendricks County, Indiana. We are proud to partner with Love’s on this project and excited to be back at the location of our first project with them. This addition will provide added cooler and freezer space for expanded fresh food options for those on the road. Check back soon for progress on this project.
Interior Units Taking Shape in Euclid
The interior storage units are beginning to take form for the new Extra Space Self Storage in Euclid, Ohio. The climate-controlled conversion continues along since the last update. The roof replacement has been completed, new RTUs set and fired up, new electrical circuits ran, and light fixtured converted. The painting and finishes will be installed along with the unit installation.
